With nearly 25 years of hand carving archtop guitar, Luthier Vatroslav Sabolovic has developed his own technic inspired by the Stradivarius and Italian quatuor lutherie.
Each soundboard and backplate is carved in massive wood and calibrated tenth millimeter close to reveal all their acoustic qualities, providing the instrument the best sound possible.
In addition to the acoustic qualities, the guitars have a rare and elegant design.
Many materials and original creations comes to sublimate the instruments.
All Sabolovic Guitars are 100% made in France and hand-crafted at the workshop in Normandy (near Giverny) by Luthier Vatroslav Sabolovic and his team.
All our building process is artisanal. Each guitar is hand-crafted individually.
The low annual production volume makes it an excellent investment value, as they are increasingly sought after by professionals and collectors alike.

Our spruce and maple are from the european forest (France, Croatia…) and provide exceptional acoustic properties, known and used from centuries in the european lutherie.
Rosewood, Ebony, Walnut… and our other rare wood species are selected worldwide for their qualities and natural design.

OUR SIGNATURE
With their original design and body shapes, Sabolovic guitars differ from the archtop we usually see.
Our archtops offer generous curves and a very sensual touch.
Backplates are generously arched, body shapes are sensual which provides an incomparable joy of playing.
Most of our parts are original and made at the workshop: wooden tailpiece, pickguard, wooden pickup rings, original “VS” metal tailpiece.
Our original engraved or carved mother-of-pearl Sabolovic signature comes to dress the headstocks.
Calligraphy in Chinese ink, multiple binding and purfling, rare woods … each element sublimates the instruments.
Our dyes and finishes are specially developed to reveal the natural beauty of the essences used.
The instruments are finished with high quality cellulosic varnishes that offer a mirror gloss..
