A VOCATION
EARLY
Vatroslav’s vocation came to him at the age of 6 with his first guitar.
This guitar allowed him to discover not only music but also this fabulous instrument.
His childhood was punctuated by its sweet melody.
After this period of practice, his passion for the guitar naturally led him to guitar making.
A lover of sound and “noble” materials, he made his first guitar at the age of 16.
Self-taught, he devoted all his creativity to his passion to transform his instruments into true works of art.

LEARNING
IN THE PURE TRADITION OF CLASSIC LUTHERIE
A guitar is, above all, wood, and this wood must be chosen with care and passion.
From spruce forests in eastern France, Switzerland, or Italy, to maple from Eastern European countries, to more exotic species like Gabonese ebony, Vatroslav puts his heart and soul into selecting the finest woods that will be used to design his future instruments.
He feels and communicates with the tree, selecting his future woods based on their mechanical and acoustic properties.
Through each instrument, you will be able to feel the tree that created it and its story.
Since each board is unique, each instrument is also unique. It is this love story that will give birth to each marvel with a unique soul, yours and that of the forest.
Violin making is a comprehensive craft that involves many different skills, including cabinetmaking, sculpture, acoustics, marquetry, varnishing, painting, and electronics.
But above all, it is the work of a poet in love with wood and sound.
